The Body Shop Honeymania Body Butter

UPDATE: The Honeymania Body Butter and scrub is also included in the S$19.90 sale. Brazil Nut scrub is also on sale, but Cocoa Butter is not.

Just now while shopping for a face moisturiser, I walked passed a The Body Shop store and saw that they are having a S$19.90 sale for selected body butters and body scrubs. If I’m not wrong, they are: Shea, Olive, Moringa and Mango. If you’ve a favourite, now is the time to stock up.

Sadly though, the Cocoa Butter Cream Body Scrub reviewed in my last post and the Honeymania Body Butter that I’m reviewing today are not included in the sale.

My 200ml tub of Honeymania Body Butter.

I’ve finished several 50ml tubs bought during warehouse sale, and this tub is about halfway done. Goes to show how much I love it.

The consistency of this body butter is more solid and less oily. I love how it won’t make my skin greasy after applying.

What I love most about it though, is its scent. Normally, honey scents turn me off. They usually smell overly sweet. However, the entire Honeymania collection is a pleasant surprise. It smells like a floral honey, I think most people will like it.

Regular use of this body butter nightly will improve the skin condition of dry and scaly skin. I think consistency is key. Twice a week exfoliation, applying body lotion daily and body butter nightly will definitely make a huge difference.

That’s it for this post. ヾ(@⌒ー⌒@)ノ

P.s. I’ve been busy doing some spring cleaning around the house and so I haven’t been able to update here daily. I’ll try to post as much as I can. ^_^

The Body Shop Blueberry Body Butter

For the past few months, I’ve been obsessed with products from The Body Shop. Ever since they changed the membership system to points accumulation, I’ve been buying more stuff from them. Here’s my previous post about how bad their old membership system was. Honestly, I’m glad they changed the system. I’ve spent so much there, I’ve become a Fan Member. ^_^

Just the other day, my tub of Blueberry Body Butter 200ml ran out. Here’s a photo that I posted on my Instagram account on all my recent empties.

If you can’t already tell, I love Blueberry Body Butter a lot. I’ve previously tried a lot of their other body butters (passion fruit, satsuma, peach) and they left an oily residue behind, so I’ve never gotten round to finish using them before they expired. The Blueberry body butter is different. The texture is creamy and sinks into the skin without being too oily. I use it almost every night right after my shower to moisturise my skin before bed.

The scent is nothing amazing, just a generic Blueberry fruity scent. I don’t find it overpowering but for those who are sensitive to scents, it’ll be safer to test it out in the stores first. Those with normal or dry skin will like this product.

It’s a limited edition product so I’m not sure it’s still in stores, but I think it’ll definitely appear in their warehouse sales. I’m pretty sure they’ll bring it back as a regular if it’s popular.

Right now, I’m just glad that I’ve another tub stocked up during one of their sales two months ago. I’m not going to use it till I’ve finished my other body butters. I go through them like crazy.

I also have their Blueberry shower gel but it’s not my favourite scent so the conclusion of my review is: Buy the body butter and leave the rest.

Hopefully my review has been helpful to you.
