Vaseline Petroleum Jelly
After experimenting with a lot of lip balms over the years, I’ve found that petroleum jelly is the best cure for dry lips. It’s no secret how useful petroleum jelly is to combat dryness; I’ve read that it can be used to apply on the skin, hands and even the ends of hair to tame frizzy ends.
This summer, I’ve gotten myself a new tub of Vaseline Petroleum Jelly and it has helped my lips stay moisturised all day long.
I usually apply a thick layer on my lips before bed and once again 5 mins before my shower so that I can rub off the dead skin before brushing my teeth.
It’s inexpensive and the tiniest tub lasts for months if you use it only for lips.

By the way, petroleum jelly can also be used to make tinted lip balm. Years ago, after watching a YouTube video on it, I made a tub of tinted lip balm. Try Youtubing it if you’re interested.
To small happiness
It seems like a sign that things are starting to go my way now. To be honest, it has been really hard for me to feel happy recently so I am extra grateful for all the happiness in my life. *\(^o^)/*

The Body Shop Lily Cole Lip & Cheek Dome: 20 Pinch Me Pink
Look how shiny the surface is!! I almost couldn’t bear to use it. Almost.
I basically uploaded 5 photos of the same thing. =_=
That’s exactly how I applied it and it gave me a nice pinkish glow on my cheeks. The texture is not too creamy, so it’s a tad different from my usual cream blushers. I guess it’s for easier application as it’s dabbed on like a stick concealer.
Cream blushers have a shorter lifespan than powder ones as the moisture in them hasten decomposition & bacteria growth. However, the best thing about the Lip & Cheek Dome is that it lasts 3 years from the manufacturing date, even after opening.
I love the blusher from packaging (pink with random black dots!!) to product to usability. This is a must-buy for people who needs blushers.
P.s. The highlighting powder from the same collection looks so cute, I feel like buying it too!!

Uniqlo Dressing Room
Both were too baggy and there were no size smaller than large. (._.)
Camho in the dressing room..
Though everyone’s taste in t-shirts can vary. The other day, I was gushing to my friend on how cute my new Woodstock t-shirt is, but she didn’t seem to share my opinion. =_=
I mean who doesn’t like Woodstock, right?!!

Banyan Tree Candles
The candles are from Banyan Tree, which Yvonne helped me to purchase. They have a website dedicated to their merchandise and they ship international too.
It’s hard to imagine that people would pay so much shipping fees for candles and towels though I’ve heard that it happens.
Σ(・□・;)
The two candles that I bought are “Walk in the woods” and “Lavender & Bergamot”. I’ve to say both are really nice. I like them enough that I will try out other scents listed on the website too.
It’s a pity though that the Banyan Tree has such limited scents and most of them comes in travel-sized tins. (They only make their lavender and cinnamon ones in larger glass containers.)
There are so many different scents sold online overseas at very affordable and reasonable prices but I just can’t bear to pay international shipping fees for candles. Somehow, paying more for shipping than the product itself seems kinda dumb.
I’m hoping that scented candles catch on in Singapore so more companies and shops bring in candles of different varieties. There are some sold in Isetan but the more the merrier, I’ll say!!
Good Morning!!
The brows in the photo above are drawn, twice as thick as my current too-thin eyebrows. Still not thick enough, but I’m trying to embrace the new look.
That’s all for now. (・ω・)ノ
