Every single night, after showering, all I wanted to do is to curl up in bed to read a book. =_= And some of the body butters are too oily/sticky, it makes me uncomfortable and that hardly is a good recipe for a good night’s rest.
But I’ve made it a point to incorporate it into my nightly routine to slather on some body lotion straight after my facial skincare routine. I made sure to avoid using body butters. After a few days, it has become a good habit rather than a chore and it has made a huge difference to my skin so I strongly urge everyone to do the same.
As I was saying, during my nightly moisturizing routine, I’ve noticed that my heels are dry but regular moisturizer simply does not work as well on heels. Has anyone tried heel creams before? They are oily, sticky, very messy to walk in, and especially difficult to wash off the hands. In other words, they are a NIGHTMARE to use.
So when I saw Dermal Therapy Heel-Magic in Watsons, I grabbed one.
It is a roll-on stick so I no longer need to get my hands dirty. Thank god for the genius that invented this because I can’t stand oiliness on my hands. It creeps me out and if I use a heel cream, I always have to wash my hands thrice with hand soap to remove everything.
A close up of the description..
I’ve used it for about a week and then some now, and it is every bit as oily as any other heel cream out there. After applying, it is necessary to wear indoor slippers or you will either slip and break your neck, or die from exhaustion from having to mop the floor everyday.
It cost a whooping $15.50, very expensive indeed for a heel cream. However, if you find heel creams disgusting to touch, then roll on sticks are a godsend.
However, I’m not sure that I will repurchase this though as the stick does not roll up properly.
